Obtaining the prestigious European FELLOW certificate as an expert in complex abdominal wall surgery. Certificate granted by the Union Européenne des Médicins Spécialistes (UEMS).

Specifically, he has been awarded the title of Fellow of the Board of Surgery in Abdominal Wall Surgery. Currently, very few surgeons in Spain hold this qualification (2023). Creator and promoter of the experimental surgery project in collaboration with the Biomedical Research Institute (IRB) of Lleida for the study of biomechanical measurement in abdominal wall closure.
Pioneering driver of teaching and research at the Applied Biomedical Research Centre (CREBA), Lleida.
Since 2009, he has been developing his public activity at the Arnau de Vilanova University Hospital in Lleida, where he directs abdominal wall pathology. He also engages in teaching as an associate professor at the University of Lleida.

Furthermore, since 2009, he has been developing his private practice in Barcelona as a collaborator at Hospital de Barcelona, Clínica Tres Torres, Clínica Remei, Hospital General de Cataluña, and Clínica Creu Blanca. He has professional and research experience in abdominal wall pathology (hernia surgery, rectus diastasis, incisional hernias, abdominal wall tumors, abdominal muscle disorders, abdominal laxity) and in minimally invasive surgery (conventional laparoscopy and single-port laparoscopy).
He has directed laparoscopic abdominal wall surgery courses at the Hospital Universitari Arnau de Vilanova and abroad (Trèvoux-France, York-Great Britain). He is currently one of the first and most prestigious surgeons in Spain in the use of robotics (minimally invasive surgery) for simple and complex abdominal wall pathologies.
